Medix is hiring Health Infomation Technicians - URGENT NEEDS - ONSITE!

HIM Technician performs clerical/technical duties associated with medical records processes and procedures. This could include the retrieval, preparation, scanning, imagining, filing, quality review and indexing of paper documents. The HIM Technician is skilled with operating equipment and with the detailed technical aspects of their assigned duties.

Overview

• Scanning/Imaging
• DNFB/DNFC Assistance
• Retrieval of documents
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Registry Maintenance (non-patient facing i.e. death, trauma, etc.)
• Indexing

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications

• Proven technical abilities (comfortable using a computer, scanning machine, navigating between multiple applications)
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Strong Attention to Detail
• Proven track record of strong work ethic
• Comfortable in a fast paced environment
• Proven track record of hitting goals in the workplace

Schedule(s) avaialble:

11:00a-7:30p, Sunday - Thursday (1st week training is day shift)

11:00a-7:30p, Tuesday - Saturday (1st week training is day shift)

3:30pm-12am, Monday - Friday

3:30pm-12am, Sunday - Thursday (1st week training is day shift)

3:30pm-12am, Tuesday - Saturday (1st week training is day shift)

*Please note this is an 8 week contract assignment*
