BWC is currently operating under a hybrid schedule that may incorporate both teleworking and in-person office hours. Employees must be able to report to the office when requested by management &/or for their initial job training.

What You'll Be Doing:
Receives general supervision from the Health Partnership program (HPP) Systems Support Supervisor, possesses considerable knowledge of business process analysis methods & techniques to create & coordinate technical documentation preparation & distribution for processes, projects & procedures, works with business users & technical staff to develop strategies & lead the modification or creation of new systems for implementation of information technology solutions.
  • Assisting in task plans.
  • Creating Information Technology process flows & flowchart documents & recommends possible solutions to identified business problems through implementation of technical solutions to support HPP & Medical Services systems.
  • Coordinating testing for HPP Systems Support Unit (HPPSSU) by working with BWC & vendor management staff to identify project staffing requirements, testing timeframes, & scenarios to be tested.
  • Assisting in leading the analysis, development, & documentation of system requirements for all computer applications (e.g., Managed Care Organizations [MCOs], BWC*CAM, BWC's Pharmacy Benefits Manager [PBM]).
  • Reviewing recommended enhancements & policy changes & performs validation of solutions &/or requires programming for implementation.
  • Attending technical meetings as user representative.
  • Working with programmers to assist development of enhancements.
  • Writing reports to develop recommendation for resolution of issues identified during requirements analysis (e.g., identifies issues & options for addressing, reviewing, & documenting requirements for system changes not supported by HSS.
  • Making possible recommendations based on available data from various systems & departments within BWC (e.g., Data Warehouse & pharmacy benefits manager reporting system).

Qualifications
To Qualify, You Must Clearly Demonstrate:
  • 60 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: creating and coordinating technical and business requirements for processes, projects and procedures, working with business users and technical staff to develop strategies and leading modification or creation of new systems for implementation of information technology solutions.
  • Or completion of associate core program in computer science, information systems, or business administration AND 42 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: creating and coordinating technical and business requirements for processes, projects and procedures, working with business users and technical staff to develop strategies and leading modification or creation of new systems for implementation of information technology solutions.
  • Or completion of undergraduate core program in computer science, information systems, or business administration AND 36 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: creating and coordinating technical and business requirements for processes, projects and procedures, working with business users and technical staff to develop strategies and leading modification or creation of new systems for implementation of information technology solutions.
  • Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
