Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a HEALTH UNIT COORDINATOR to join our team!

The Health Unit Coordinator provides support in patient care areas to visitors, patients, and staff in a professional and caring manner.

HOURS: Full time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours per two weeks pay period. Monday-Friday.

Experience/Qualifications

• K nowledge of patient care standards and general office practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience., and courses in computer applications and medical terminology.
• Graduation from an accredited program for Health Unit Coordinators, or training/education to meet job requirements beneficial.
• Two years' experience as a Health Unit Coordinator beneficial.
