Job Summary:

Performs the receptionist and clerical duties on the patient care areas. Coordinates patient information and communication for the department and is responsible for maintaining accurate medical records. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Ability to read and write to complete forms and logs, comprehend and communicate complicated verbal and written instructions. Ability to communicate clearly. Exemplary telephone etiquette necessary. Interpersonal skills to gather and exchange information with patients, visitors and hospital staff in a courteous and supportive manner. Analytical skills to gather and interpret routine information, maintain semi complex records and organize work.
