Account Manager functions as a facility's Biomedical or Clinical Engineering Manager within a Healthcare Organization. The Account Manager is the primary administrative contact for hospital leadership regarding the facility Medical Equipment Maintenance Program. This person directs the activities of the department including selection, procurement, delivery of biomedical equipment and service as well as ensures that all implemented program elements confirm with TJC, DNV, or other agencies requirements, standards, and guidelines. The Account Manager is a key member of many inter-hospital committees such as life safety, environment of care, capital acquisition, budgeting. This person will have a well-established presence and relationship within the facility with customer satisfaction results and performance indicators being paramount.

Oversees and leads operations of Biomedical Services department. Manages all medical equipment and up to 10 service techs. Provides a quality, cost effective, Biomed program that meets or exceeds customer's quality goals and financial objectives. Must have valid US drivers' license, and able to work in the US without Visa sponsorship.

Provided an aggressively managed medical equipment maintenance service program that lowers annual cost of service while elevating equipment uptime, and providing the highest level of customer service. Assists with and oversees technology assessment, forecasting medical equipment replacement needs, and capital equipment purchasing. Supports special projects as related to area of expertise and responsibility. Serves as technical advisor on medical device purchases, safety related issues/concerns, regulatory requirements, Joint Commission Standards specific to the Environment of Care (EOC), and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. Assists, leads, guides and mentors staff in career growth, skill development, and work performance and expectations. Must have excellent communication skills, and experience managing P&L. .

Education/Special Training
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates Degree or DOD equivalent training required
  • Bachelor's Degree, or other higher level of education pertaining to this job description preferred
  • CBET, CHTM, or similar preferred
Must have valid US drivers' license, clean driving record, and must pass criminal background and drug screening. Must be able to work in the US without Visa sponsorship.
