As a member of the Mass General Brigham Human Resources Learning & Development Operations team, this position provides analytical and technical support to our extended HR community as well as end user support. Specific job responsibilities include end user support and ongoing system maintenance, systems and business analysis, and documenting business processes. The incumbent will also perform data auditing, and metric analysis using multiple data sources to provide data needed for business decision making. The incumbent will be expected to identify issues/problems and offer resolutions for current business procedures. The Support Analyst will report directly to the Senior Manager, Learning & Development Operations and will be cross-trained to provide back-up coverage, as necessary.

Qualifications

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Familiarity with Human Resources systems, particularly HealthStream, as well as PeopleSoft, ServiceNow, Evals, and OnBase. Experience with Workday, Primary Source Verification, and Tuition Assistance a plu

• Working knowledge of HealthStream publishing, creating student groups and reports, assigning roles, and providing guidance/training to HealthStream administrators and user

• Ability to provide support of HR systems for managers and employees to research and resolve complex problems or unexpected results; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet business needs of end user

• Assist HR Support Center in troubleshooting complex question

• Possess analytical skills to solve problems, interpret results, and refine complex information into actionable recommendations for system process changes/solution

• Recommend process improvements, innovative solutions, or policy changes to leadership which can best utilize the functions within HR system

• Demonstrate ability to work cross-functionally with HR Operations & Technology, business, and corporate team

• Participate in developing training material and best practice processes for user

• Demonstrate ability to take ownership and consistently deliver on commitment

• Participate in testing/planning for upgrades and new functionality

• Liaison with third-party vendors when troubleshooting user issues, system changes, and training need

• Ability to exercise integrity and judgement in complex and ambiguous situation

• Complete various projects/tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, preferably with a concentration in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 2-3 years experience required, preferably in a Human Resources, Healthcare, or related setting.

• Previous experience with HealthStream strongly preferred.

• Advanced knowledge of PC applications, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements.

Skills and Abilities Required

• Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and manage sensitive situation

• Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with cross functional teams including staff at all levels of the organization

• Ability to successfully negotiate and collaborate with others of different skill sets, backgrounds and levels within and external to the organization

• Strong problem solving skill

• Ability to effectively conduct meetings, both formal and informal

• Requires minimal direction from leadership and possesses the ability to learn quickly

• Advance user of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc...

• Excellent communication abilities - written, verbal and public speaking

• Experience in handling high volume, multiple tasks and a wide range of customer

• Basic general accounting knowledge
