Description:
Piedmont is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Advanced Heart Failure team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. This is a PRN position needing at least two days per month as well as coverage on an as needed basis.

In this role you will:

• Inpatient rounding on heart failure patients, which may include, but not limited to patients with LVADs/heart transplants
• Spend time educating patients on condition and medication management
• Augment a physicians ability to provide medical services to patients
• Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services.

Ideal candidates will be able to commit to two shifts per four-week schedule with minimum of one weekend day with four-week schedule

Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
