Some of those vehicles include the M1128 Mobile gun system, the M1132 Engineer support vehicle, the M1133 Medical evacuation vehicle, and the M1135 NBC recon vehicle. - Performs field and sustainment level maintenance on various vehicle systems to include the suspension systems, steering systems, hydraulic systems, fire extinguisher/suppression systems and vehicular mounted armament.
- Supervises and is accountable for the shop safety program, plus the use, maintenance & security of power tools.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots malfunctions.
- Performs damage assessment and repair.
- 10+ years maintenance experience in Mechanical Maintenance or a combination of Mechanical Maintenance and General Technical
- 10+ years of experience in maintenance and repairs of engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to bring and use own tools
- Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening
- Ability to receive a favorable Tier-1 Investigation result and obtain a CAC
- High School Diploma / GED
- Valid Driver's License
- U. S. Army MOS 91 series qualification or civilian equivalent
- Hourly Compensation: $33.07
- Retention Bonus of $5,000 upon completion of 750 hours.
- Referral Bonus of $1,000
- Completion Bonus of $7,000 (Prorated, Performance Period: 5/1/2024 - 2/7/2025)
- Relocation Assistant: must be 50 miles or greater distance.
- Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.
- Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
