Qualifications

Skills You'll Need:

Experience. Experience working on heavy construction equipment referred to "YELLOW IRON" is required. Previous welding experience, especially in the industrial or construction industry, is preferred. Equipment such as CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo, etc.

Knowledge of Best Practices. Must demonstrate knowledge of best practices related to using electric, gas, arc, or other welding equipment. General knowledge of the occupational hazards involved in welding is preferred. Knowledge of general principles and practices of servicing heavy construction equipment is preferred.

Flexibility. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.

Mechanical Skills. Must have some knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.

Hourly Range: the hourly range for this role is between $31.00 - $37.00 per hour. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate's compensation, we consider a number of factors, including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
