Equipment Operator, Senior: Guaranteed Starting Salary: $49,920 ($24.00 per hour)
Equipment Operator, Master: Estimated Hiring Range: $52,000 or higher ($25.00 per hour or higher based on experience)

The City of Newport News is hiring for experience heavy equipment operators and who have:

- At least 2 years of experience with backhoes, skid steers, small excavators, small end loaders or similar equipment
- Worked in utility construction, or with water distribution lines or underground utilities
