**Note** These activities will occupy the candidate until Inventory and Asset Cleanup is complete.Once Inventory and Asset Cleanup is complete, candidates will be re-assigned to Workstation Refresh efforts.

General Contractor Technician (Asset Data Reconciliation) - The Contractor shall:
Take direction from a senior analyst and shall conduct targeted physical inventories to reconcile asset inventory data and information in the IRS' System of Record database, HP Asset Manager.
Search for missing IT equipment and use various research techniques to locate equipment and report data discrepancies to correct and improve the quality and completeness of asset data.
Conduct physical inventories at specified IRS' locations to reconcile, report, and correct asset management and inventory data discrepancies.
Report inventory transactions and events using IRS' standard Install, Move, Add, Change (IMAC) processes.
The Contractor shall utilize existing IRS technologies, inventory tools and databases to identify, update and maintain asset data currency and accuracy for hardware assets.
Execute Asset Management inventory database updates in accordance with existing process and policy.
Reconcile data discrepancies through any available means or methods to include use of IRS owned network discovery tools, reaching out to on-site contacts, physical site surveys, research available financial and acquisitions records, and other asset management records available.
