Job Description:
  • Strong SQL experience
  • Medicaid or Public Health experience
  • Good understanding of HL7 V2 and V3 data structures
  • OMAP knowledge/experience:
  • The Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) CDM model for Electronic Health Records (HER)
  • Azure cloud development platform experience
  • Corepoint or Rhapsody experience
  • Python experience
  • ETL experience (Informatica preferred)
Required Skills:
  • 8 Years of Experience with batch file programming
  • 8 Years of Experience designing and developing complex SQL scripts that are fast and efficient.
  • 8 Years of Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience as a system analyst for a data analytics, performance management system, or data warehousing project.
  • 8 Years of Experience on an agile sprint team
Preferred Skills:
  • 4 Years of Experience with HL7/FHIR data structures
  • 4 Years of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business or equivalent experience.
  • 4 Years of Prior experience in the Healthcare Industry
  • 4 Years of Prior experience with an HHS agency
  • 4 Years of Prior experience working with PII or PHI data
  • 4 Years of Experience using Corepoint/Rhapsody
  • 4 Years of Experience with JIRA software
  • 4 Years of Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • 4 Years of Understanding of security principles and how they apply to healthcare data
  • 4 Years of Proven ability to write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
  • 4 Years of Effectively manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize conflicting assignments, and switch quickly between assignments, as required.
