Job Summary:

As a High School Math Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality math instruction to students, preparing them for academic success and future opportunities. You will create engaging lesson plans that align with state standards, adapt to the needs of diverse learners, and foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver math lessons that meet state standards and align with the school's curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their learning goals.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in math education.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Certified High School Math Teacher (valid teaching certification in Michigan).
• Minimum Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of math content and effective instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
