Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:30PM - 12:00AM (Midnight) *Night Differential Pay Offered*

Compliance: Criminal Background Check, Drug Test, Education (High School Diploma/GED) and Health Screens

Job Description:
The HIM Technician performs clerical/technical duties associated with medical records processes and procedures. This could include the retrieval, preparation, scanning, imagining, filing, quality review and indexing of paper documents. The HIM Technician is skilled with operating equipment and with the detailed technical aspects of their assigned duties.

Overview:
Scanning/Imaging Patient Charts
DNFB/DNFC Assistance
Retrieval of documents
Reconciliation of accounts
Registry Maintenance (non-patient facing i.e. death, trauma, etc.)
Indexing

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications
Proven technical abilities (comfortable using a computer, scanning machine, navigating between multiple applications)
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Strong Attention to Detail
Proven track record of strong work ethic
Comfortable in a fast paced environment
Proven track record of hitting goals in the workplace

Pay Range: $18/hr-$21/HR + Full Time Benefits
