As a Histotechnologist 1 Per Diem, you play a crucial role in the Histology Lab by providing coverage to ensure the efficiency and quality of our laboratory operation. Your primary duties include: • Process, embed, section, and stain tissue specimens with H&E and special stains according to established protocols. • Maintain quality control and other logs as necessary to uphold high standards of laboratory practice. • Interact with faculty, residents, and grossing personnel to address any issues or concerns regarding test orders. • Maintain a clean and properly maintained work area to promote a safe and efficient laboratory environment. Salary Range: $75.38/hour - $75.38/hour May convert to career.
