We are seeking for a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant that will provide compassionate personal care and homemaker services for patients when appropriate and maintains a safe and healthy environment.

CNAs provide daily care to enhance a patient's daily life, wellness and dignity and assisting with various personal care issues such as:

• Feeding the patient

• Assisting patient with grooming and using the toilet

• Bathing the patient

• Turning the bedbound patient

• Changing the patient's linens

• Keeping the patient's living space clean

• Assisting with the set-up of medical equipment

• Stocking medical supplies

Other Duties:

• Providing support services to patients in their home under the supervision of the Hospice RN.
• Assisting the patient in the achievement of physical and emotional comfort according to the Plan of Care
• Help with therapeutic exercise, light household tasks, and ADLs
• Recognize and report changes in condition to the RN

Requirements:

• CNA Certification -MUST have
• High School graduate or GEDMUST have
• Use of personal vehicle with proof of insurance and valid driver's license
• Compassion to work with terminally ill patients
