Hospice RN - Sussman House

Your Role:
Hospice Care at the Sussman House | MaineHealth in Rockport is searching for a Registered Nurse! Hospice Care at the Sussman House. When a loved one with a terminal illness needs help with pain control and symptom management, an inpatient hospice facility such as the Sussman House may be the solution. Located on the Pen Bay Medical Center campus in Rockport, the Sussman House provides care for people whose symptoms are not well managed at home. In partnership with MaineHealth Care at Home, the Sussman House provides advanced hospice services in a caring, home-like setting that promotes dignity and quality of life.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

Education: Graduate of an NLN accredited nursing program.

License/Certifications: State of Maine licensure as a Registered Nurse. Current certification in Hospice preferred. Current, valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy. Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.

Experience: Position requires a minimum of one year of acute nursing experience.
