DESCRIPTION
The Hospital Assistant 3 will be responsible for the APC clinic scheduling and management WQ, in-basket appointment request and master daily schedule APC appointment needs. Hospital assistant is responsible for answering APC Phone Lines. The hospital assistant is responsible for ensuring clinical documents requested are received and uploaded. Hospital assistant is responsible for clinic administrative duties such as template management, patient forms and in-basket management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Annual Full Pay Range: $54,664 - $67,944 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $26.18 - $32.54

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Three (3) years previous related experience in a large complex healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of third party payors including federal, state, and private health plans.
- Strong problem-solving ability by using good judgment and applying these skills to assist customers and ensure customers' expectations are met.
- Demonstrated computer skills and be able to work between multiple systems during calls.
- Ability to work in an interactive environment and possess excellent customer service skills both in person and over the phone.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Possess the personal characteristics of professionalism, credibility, commitment to high standards, innovation, discriminating judgment and accountability.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities, handle deadlines and manage conflicting demands with limited supervision.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with demonstrated experience applying good judgment and discretion.
- EPIC, ORSOS, PCIS, and IDX experience.
- Experience working in an APC clinic.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
- Floats to other sites to provide coverage as needed.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
