The Opportunity

The Host Sample Coordinator acts as the primary relationship manager and point-of-contact for all matters concerning Host Product Samples, partnering with internal and external teams including Product Central, Merchandising, Organic Social, Hosts, Legal, Vendors and Guests. The primary purpose of the role is to provide hosts with product samples to gain hands-on product

knowledge to support critical business needs and to achieve those goals while maintaining efficient operations for all teams. The Host Sample Coordinator must maintain a full understanding of business needs and priorities to process sample orders, clearly communicate and track their progress throughout every step, from the initial order to host distribution to return, and to see product through to its proper final destination or disposal, in accordance with Qurate Business Ethics and Compliance Guidelines.

Your Impact

• Ensure timely and efficient distribution of host samples from Check-out to return.
  
• Return prioritizing arrival and distribution to correspond with proper time.
  
• Follow guidelines, allowing hosts to experience and learn about the products before their on-air presentations.
  
• Follow Sample Guidelines procedure, adjusting as necessary for unique product types within each of the sample categories, including Consumable and Returnable.
  
• Work directly with Buyers or Vendors when necessary to ensure timely delivery of samples.
  
• Ensure that all samples are distributed only to hosts that are scheduled to present the item.
  
• Manage Follow up on consumable samples from all categories.
  
• Design, Update, Manage Host Sample Submission Form.
  
• Monitor Returnable sample file monthly to ensure completion of paperwork and returns.
  
• Manage the Returned-Sample Process after host usage to determine next actions for samples returned by hosts after usage, including disposal, re-stocking or forwarding to the Sample Sale team.
  
• Provide oversight of samples logistics for the designated sample storage and distribution areas.
  
• Ensure host sample areas are free of unused samples and that samples are organized and managed appropriately.Designated Host Sample Areas include the Host Lounge mail bins, host sample arrival area, and the host sample testing area.
  

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  
• 3 to 5 years related relationship management or project management.
