The RN - Administration Supervisor is a member of the Nursing Service Management Team and is responsible for assuring quality patient care. The Supervisor shall participate in staffing by making the necessary adjustments to provide the needed staff on each nursing unit by observing the worked hours per patient day, staff mix, and acuity. The Supervisor will serve as a role model and clinical resource for staff nurses. The Supervisor has the responsibility and authority to direct the Nursing Service Department in the absence of the Directors and Chief Nursing Officer. This position may have additional duties assigned as needed.Description

• Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred. Minimum 18 months as a RN required. Previous experience in a hospital Supervisory or Managerial role preferred. License / Certification required: Active RN license required, BLS required, ACLS required, PALS required, Chemotherapy administration certification required Demonstrates effective leadership qualities, sound judgment and good interpersonal relationships. Knowledge and demonstrates competency on assessing and management of all VADs.
