Job Duties

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and procedures with the use of cleaning chemicals, equipment/ supplies used in a health care facility.
• Knowledge of safety practices as related to housekeeping duties.
• Working skill in the operation of manual and power cleaning equipment.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and schedules.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods of time and perform manual labor.
• Ability to perform cleaning/housekeeping duties in patient occupied areas.
• Possess leadership skills.
• Assist with supervising housekeeping staff.

Minimum Qualifications

-Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or custodial experience (required)
