Housekeeping Aide

As a Housekeeping Aide at Paramount Senior Living, you will be essential in improving the lives of our residents by keeping their living spaces clean, safe, and inviting. Your careful attention to detail will help ensure that both resident rooms and common areas are hygienic, creating a comfortable atmosphere for everyone. In this role, you will support our environmental services team by working hard to meet high cleanliness standards, which show our dedication to providing excellent care. Your work will make a real difference in the daily lives of our residents, helping to make their home a pleasant place to live.

Responsibilities

• Floor and Surface Cleaning: Vacuum, sweep, dust, mop, and strip wax from floors, and clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and heating/cooling units in resident rooms and common areas.
• Bathroom Maintenance: Sanitize and polish bathroom fixtures in both resident and common areas, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene.
• Window and Mirror Cleaning: Wash and polish windows and mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, and bathrooms, enhancing visibility and brightness.
• Waste Management: Properly discard waste into containers and facility dumpsters, reline trash receptacles, and maintain cleanliness in all areas.
• Equipment Maintenance and Reporting: Ensure cleaning equipment is in good working condition, report any hazards to the Supervisor, inform them of supply needs, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to work every other weekend
• Ability to work independently and remain motivated
• Helpful with customer service orientation
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail
• High school degree or GED
