Overview:
Oversees the safe, efficient, and smooth operation of the Housekeeping team at Associate Housing.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervises, directs, counsels and disciplines line associates.
  • Delegates assignments to supervisors, line staff and provides follow up, assuring proper completion.
  • Ensures all duties in a location are performed in a safe manner and by established guidelines.
  • Responds to and takes appropriate action to resolve concerns and complaints from residents.
  • Ensures the cleanliness of all Housekeeping areas and assists the staff as needed.
  • Assures staff has proper equipment and adequate supplies to complete job tasks. Notifies Maintenance of equipment problems, building repairs, etc. necessary to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Helps with development of department training programs, manuals, and procedures under the supervision of the Area Manager. Verifies associates are trained on all aspects of the operation.
  • Performs all duties of Line Associates, Housekeepers as needed.
  • Completes administrative paperwork as required by the department.
  • Coach and assists in counseling with the associates, supervisors and assistant area supervisors.
  • Be trained in the proper use of all chemicals necessary for all Park Services positions.
  • Conducts meetings with the associates and supervisors to provide them with the necessary information to effectively perform their job duties.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • 1-2 years previous Housekeeping supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication (verbal, written & listening)skills, especially dealing with the public as well as associates.
  • Demostrated leadership experience.Good analytical, interpersonal and planning skills.
  • Open availability to fill a rotating 25-40 hour schedule, to include nights, and wekeends.
