The US Oncology Network is looking for a HR Compliance Analyst to join our team at Texas Oncology. This position will be a remote position.

What does the Compliance Analyst do?

As the Compliance Analyst, you'll play a key role to champion a compliance framework that empowers leaders and employees to do their best while complying with national, state, and provincial regulatory requirements. In partnership with key stakeholders like the other HR COEs, and Employment Law, this role will help build and drive execution of Human Resource compliance initiatives. The role will have a mix of strategic partnering and day to day responsibilities supporting the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  1. Regulatory Compliance:

- Drive initiatives addressing regulatory requirements across the employee life cycle, including recruiting, pre-boarding, employee development, experience, and off-boarding.

- Ensure company compliance with Federal and State regulations (OSHA, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, FLSA).

- Lead and execute comprehensive investigations into employee relations (ER) issues, ensuring adherence to company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements.
  1. Data and Records Management:

- Produce and analyze complex Excel audit reports to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

- Maintain accurate and confidential HR compliance records, conduct audits, update policies/handbooks, track training completion, and submit required government reports.
  1. Compliance Monitoring:

- Monitor and ensure adherence to employment policies and procedures, recommending improvements as necessary.

- Conduct internal audits to identify and mitigate potential compliance issues.
  1. Collaboration and Training:

- Partner with privacy and security compliance teams for consistent compliance efforts.

- Develop and deliver training programs on HR compliance topics.
  1. Audit Support:

- Provide support for government audits (OFCCP, Internal Audits, EEO-1) and respond to external inquiries.
  1. Legal and Documentation Management:

- Manage and oversee subpoena requests related to employee records and HR documentation, ensuring legal compliance and protection of sensitive information.

- Respond to questionnaires, surveys, and information requests within the scope of assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Risk Management, Employment Law or a related field.

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an Employee Relations, HR Generalist, or similar role in compliance.

- Proven experience in HR compliance, preferably in a similar role.

Regulatory Knowledge:

- Demonstrated knowledge of US employment laws and state/municipal regulatory frameworks.

- Familiarity with I-9 compliance and experience managing the process.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify compliance risks and develop effective solutions.

- Demonstrated use of advanced Excel skills for data analysis.

Communication and Collaboration:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly.

- Proven collaboration skills with key partners across the company.

Project Management and Organizational Skills:

- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.

- Detail-oriented mindset with strong time management abilities.

Independence and Teamwork:

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Confidentiality and Software Proficiency:

- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

- Proficiency in HRIS systems and other relevant software applications.

Regulatory Interpretation:

- Experience in interpreting regulatory language, devising compliance strategies, and increasing stakeholder knowledge.

- Prior experience on a Compliance Team is preferred.
