About the Role: As the HR Compliance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our Human Resources department and ensuring that our agency meets the highest standards of compliance. You will work closely with various teams, managers, and supervisors to plan, schedule, and conduct audits, ensuring that all programs align with state and federal guidelines. Your work will directly contribute to the success and integrity of our organization.

Your Role in Action:
  • Provide administrative support, handling both routine and sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
  • Coordinate compliance efforts between The Harris Center and our contracted services, performing technical reviews of compliance records.
  • Partner with the HRIS team to compile and analyze data, prepare reports, and deliver valuable insights through department analytics.
  • Support agency-wide and division-specific audits, offering expert consultation to program directors, managers, and staff.
  • Develop and update audit tools to ensure alignment with Agency Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines.
  • Conduct technical reviews and monitor records for compliance with TAC Fingerprinting, NPDB maintenance, OIG Compliance, Credentials Management, and more.
  • Act as a resource for internal and external clients, providing technical assistance on compliance issues and recommending necessary changes.
  • Play a key role in the development of quality control policies, procedures, and protocols.


What You'll Need:

Education:
  • An Associate's degree or equivalent is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.


Experience:
  • At least three years of experience in social services with a focus on documentation, record-keeping, and administrative duties. Experience in a Human Resources office is a plus.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook), knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Some knowledge of web-based HR software preferred.
  • The ability to interpret policies, analyze quality control documentation, collaborate effectively, and maintain absolute confidentiality. You should be a proactive team player with excellent organizational skills and a commitment to high-quality customer service.
