HR Director/Scheduler

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic HR Director/Scheduler to join our team!

Responsibilities:
  • Review all requests from department heads for new and replacement personnel, fill requests as approved, and arrange interview, appointments, etc.
  • Maintain job application files for individuals interested in employment within the facility
  • Also files applications for positions, by position or alphabetically to include job applications, resume, reference checks, etc. of that person meeting the eligibility requirements for the position to which they applied
  • Maintain Confidentiality of all pertinent personnel information in accordance with the Privacy Act, as well as our established personnel policies governing the release of information
  • Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with our established policies and procedures, and as instructed by your supervisors
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility
  • Follows established personnel policies according to employee handbook as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the residents
  • Attends facility departmental meetings as required
  • Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submitting to the Administrator
  • Terminate employment of personnel, when necessary, documenting and coordinating such actions with the Department Director and Administrator.
  • Participate in employee performance evaluation, determining growth needs and goals
  • Tracks and verficies employee hours, overtime, and call outs daily
  • Reviews and tracks requests for time off
  • Coordinates scheduling changes with management
  • Ability to rearrange staff schedule


Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
  • 2 years of college or a degree in Human Resources preferred.
  • Computer knowledge desirable
  • Previous scheduling experience
  • Effectively communicate with others
  • 1 year supervisory experience required
  • Previous long-term care experience is desirable
