Job Description

SCOPE OF POSITION
Provides support in the areas of employment, compensation, benefits, team member relations and. The Human Resources Generalist, Corporate regularly reviews and audits data in the HRIS system to ensure accurate electronic Team Member files. Involvement on Human Resources process improvement teams and is essential. Responsible for entry and maintenance of data in HRIS systems and has a thorough understanding of these systems. This position acts as a resource for all Human Resources functions for team members across the organization. Provides support for facility Human Resources team. This position interacts with a wide range of people from the community and from within the organization. As such, the Human Resources Generalist position requires the ability to demonstrate an outstanding customer-service orientation. Attends training sessions, various meetings, seminars, etc to enhance and maintain current knowledge of general Human Resource issues and compliance regulations. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, labor relations and employment. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required. Three years of Human Resources experience preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills required
HRCI (PHR or SPHR) or SHRM certification preferred
