Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the HR manager. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, absence management (ADA/FMLA) employee relations, training, onboarding, employment and employment law compliance.

Essential Functions (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Facilitate the onboarding for all employees.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding the organization's policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Assist with managing employee leave of absence programs and ADA accommodation requests.
  • Assist with investigations.
  • Manage unemployment and worker's compensation claims.
  • Maintain confidential employment data, health records, and electronic data utilizing HRIS database.
  • Review and complete unemployment notices for separation information.
  • Complete unemployment wage audits.
  • Attend unemployment hearings.
  • Quarterly participation in committees.
  • Partner with Operations Team to build a high performance, people‐focused culture that drives business results.
  • Protect the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and all applicable employment standards and legislation.
