- May provide break coverage for others as assigned

- May augment staff in other areas as needed based on staffing and needs ratio in regularly assigned unit

* Maintain knowledge of and follow all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.

* Performs recruiting functions including managing open position on the applicant tracking system, contacting hiring managers, candidate sourcing, initial screening, interviewing, reference checking, and selection

* Coordinates and conducts the efforts required in new hire orientation, demographic analysis, customized HR training and exit interviews

* Assists employees with Employment Center questions as needed

* Facilitate the staffing process: recruiting, transfer/promotions, and terminations

* Assist managers and/or supervisors identifying staffing needs and recruitment

* Recommend qualified applicants to hiring managers

* Serve as advisor to manage regarding policy and compliance issues/performance management

* Assist leadership with organizational development goals

* Assist HR Director with employee relation issues and investigations

* Assist other generalist and specialist in department with information needed

* Recruit and assist with on-line employment applications, performance management and improvement systems and org development

* Participate in and assist with Joint Commission compliance preparation, procedures, reporting and provided related documentation

* Assist with policy review and development

* Prepares weekly reports

* All other duties as assigned
