Role: HR Generalist

Location: Washington, DC; In Office Work Schedule

Pay Rate: $28-33/Hour

Our client is in search of an HR Generalist to support a variety of HR functions within their organization.

Job Responsibilities:
• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies and provide guidance and interpretation for business operations.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Conducts new hire onboarding and offboarding.
• Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.

Requirements:
• Experience in - 3+ Years experience as an HR Generalist

o Benefit management, Salary Analysis, Recruitment, Employee Relations
• Proficient in - HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite
• Soft Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, positive, high energy, collaborative
• Education - Bachelor's degree preferred
