Position Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team as a key business partner in our organization. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in labor relations, negotiations, legal compliance, talent management, positive employee relations, training, and development. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical abilities, effective communication skills, a high sense of urgency, strong people skills, and creativity to drive HR initiatives that align with business goals and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage labor relations including contract negotiations, grievances, and arbitrations.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Foster positive employee relations and resolve employee issues and conflicts.
  • Design and deliver effective training programs for employees and managers.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and equity.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform business decisions.
  • Partner with senior management to understand business unit objectives and translate them into HR initiatives.
  • Up to 30% travel


Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar HR role, preferably within a business unit or divisional setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience in labor relations, including negotiations and conflict resolution.
  • Strong understanding of talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development.
  • Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and innovative approach to HR challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
