Are you an experienced Payroll Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in a dynamic global environment? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Manager for HR Operations US Front Office - Payroll.
About the Role:

As the Manager for HR Operations US Front Office - Payroll, you will lead a team responsible for the end-to-end payroll delivery for approximately 18,000 US and Puerto Rico employees, utilizing SAP and Workday. This role involves collaboration with vendors, HR, IS, and other business units to optimize payroll processes and deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:
  • Ensure US/PR payroll services comply with company policies and federal/state laws.
  • Propose and implement strategic direction for the US/PR Payroll Services organization.
  • Champion core values and LEAN initiatives.

Operational Services:
  • Provide subject matter expertise in payroll operations.
  • Research and interpret regulatory requirements for payroll processing.
  • Maintain and review payroll systems for timely and accurate payroll transactions.
  • Contribute to local and global projects, focusing on KPIs and deliverables.
  • Streamline practices to reduce costs, enhance internal control, and improve process efficiency.
  • Participate in quarterly and annual audits.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, FLSA regulations, wage and tax laws, and other relevant legislation.
  • Build effective relationships with cross-functional groups and vendors.
  • Manage escalations and deliver timely resolutions for complex payroll inquiries.
  • Provide performance evaluations and facilitate a respectful work environment.

Customer Experience:
  • Ensure excellent customer service by providing accurate and timely responses to payroll requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet customer needs.
  • Train and guide teams on self-service capabilities and customer request responses.
  • Analyze and act on customer feedback to continuously improve service quality.

People Management:
  • Recruit, develop, and retain talented team members.
  • Allocate resources and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Coach and guide team members on complex queries.
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones, identify training needs, and ensure backup availability.
  • Perform annual performance and salary reviews.

Continuous Improvement:
  • Recommend and implement process improvements for payroll controls, efficiency, and quality.
  • Foster a mindset of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Define and monitor metrics for process effectiveness and compliance.

Finance & Budget:
  • Support financial and cost management to align with the approved budget.
Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of payroll experience, including 2 years in a leadership role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • SAP payroll module experience is required.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, laws, and procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-state and multi-company payroll.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPP certification.
  • Experience with ADP.


Pay Details: $55.00 to $62.00 per hour
