Description

The qualified applicant will support the Human Capital Branch for the Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC) & Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP) located in Colorado Springs, CO, and the National Capital Region (NCR). The applicant will have experience in working within the COCOM/MAJCOM Military Personnel Programs framework.

The applicant will support, facilitate, and conduct comprehensive manpower requirement determinations, organizational analyses, and lead special manpower studies as directed. Understand Air Force and Space Force military personnel programs, functions, and processes for assignments, promotions, awards, evaluations processes, and assignment actions. Will also facilitate the management of organizational civilian talent to include hiring, promotions, and Acquisition Demonstration (AcqDemo) program and process.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Plans, develops, and conducts organizational structure, workforce staffing studies.

- Facilitates the development of the organization's Manpower Program Objective Memorandum (POM) inputs.

- Assists with personnel allocations for organizational structural changes.

- Assist in the preparation of Organization Change Requests (OCR) and Manning Change Requests (MCR).

- Application of manpower process standards in relevant studies.

- Designs, plans, advises, and facilitates manpower assessments and management surveys.

- Supports the organization's Space Force and Air Force Officer/Enlisted Personnel programs, evaluations, promotions, and assignments.

- Assist with maintaining DAF Military HR Data Systems.

- Assists Civilian Hiring Process and Position Description Requirements (PDR) classification (non-transactional) processes.

- Support the organization's AcqDemo processes and management.

- Other related duties as required.

HIGHLY DESIRED but NOT REQUIRED

- Knowledge of Senior Leader Actions for Civilian and military is highly desired.

- An Understanding of Civilian Hiring Processes and classification actions.

Knowledge of USA Jobs Staffing and Defense Civilian Personnel Data System(DCPDS).

Qualifications

- 5+ years' direct experience with DoD Manpower and POM input processes.

- BS Degree.

- Experience with Human Capital programs within Air Force or Space Force.

- US Citizen.

- TS/SCI and willingness to sit for a CI Poly.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
