The Supreme Court of Ohio is seeking to fill the position of Human Resources Analyst in the Office of Human Resources. The Human Resources Analyst provides support to the Deputy Human Resources Director in key functional areas including payroll and benefits, recruitment and onboarding, file management, communications, leave management, and event planning.

What You'll Do:

Provide support to the Deputy Human Resources Director in aligning the Court's objectives with employees and management in designated offices.

Coordinate the recruitment process including screening of candidates, all aspects of setting up and communicating interview information to candidates and panel, representing HR on panels, and conducting in-take interviews.

Enroll and advise employees regarding employee benefits programs (health, retirement, etc.).

Assist Payroll Officer with payroll and the annual payroll audit, and processes payroll year-end and reconciliation tasks. Assist with the hiring of new Judges.

Perform various administrative duties (draft correspondence and reports, answer telephone, and respond to inquiries including employment verifications).

Oversee file management and uploading documents to OnBase.

Co-Coordinate all aspects of the Extern Program for the Court including offer letters, onboarding, orientation, tracking participation, and generating reports.

Create, manage, and distribute PAFs and EDCFs.

Coordinate functions for the HR Office such as retirement parties, new employee reception, and annual award ceremony.

Qualifications
What we're looking for:

Associate degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

A minimum of three years of professional experience, with a focus in the human resources field with responsibility for a combination of duties involving payroll, benefits, and recruitment and selection.

Requires at a minimum intermediate command of Microsoft Office applications, and knowledge of automated human resource management systems.

Knowledge of business, human resources, public administration, and employment laws, rules, policies, and procedures.

Requires advanced customer service skills, including the ability to deal with irate customers.

Requires advanced communication skills, both verbal and written, to establish positive public relations and to interact effectively with justices, judges, attorneys, supervisors, co-workers, and the public.

The ability to work as an individual contributor and as part of a team.

Must be efficient and organized with a high-level of attention to detail.

Problem solving skills, judgment, decisiveness, and creativity in evaluating information.

Experience with Kronos timekeeping system will be considered a plus.
