ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with our West Coast brands on their day to day HR needs including administration of HR policies and practices aligning with company objectives and federal and state requirements.
  • Collaborate with brand leaders to understand their goals, challenges, and workforce needs, and develop HR strategies that align with the organization's overall business objectives.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process for the region including workforce planning, job postings, interviews, and candidate assessment to ensure the organization has the right talent in place.
  • Partner with the Region and Brand leaders to manage and resolve employee relation issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, disciplinary actions, and investigations, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Assist in the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, feedback, and improvement plans.
  • Provide guidance and input on brand organizational structures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Ensure that HR policies and procedures are communicated, understood, and adhered to within the region.
  • Support organizational change initiatives, including restructures, mergers, and acquisitions, by helping manage the impact on employees and facilitating effective transitions
  • Work with brands to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant years of experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • Deep working knowledge of labor laws specifically in California and other West Coast States
  • SHRM or PHR certification preferred
  • Experience with HRIS systems, and strong working knowledge of MS Office
