Solomon Page, an award-winning, specialty, niche provider of staffing and executive search solutions across various functions and industries, is actively seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join its Corporate Human Resources team. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will support the HR department through administrative tasks, onboarding assistance, benefits management, compliance tracking, and culture-building efforts. This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate to gain experience in a corporate role, where you will support all facets of the firm in a human resources capacity.
  • Salary - $50-$55k
  • This is a hybrid role, with two days/week spent working from our headquarters in New York City.

Responsibilities:
  • The Human Resources Coordinator will assist the Corporate Human Resources team with a wide variety of projects on both a human resources and administrative level.
  • Help with new hire orientation alongside the HR Manager, including sending invitations and follow-up emails.
  • Handle employment verifications, unemployment claims, and income withholding orders by communicating with appropriate third parties.
  • Assist with background checks, vendor management, and invoicing for Asurint, Accurate, and Sterling.
  • Manage benefit enrollments and dis-enrollments for hourly staff, travel nurses, and consultants.
  • Assist with answering benefits-related questions via the shared benefits inbox.
  • Prepare state reports as needed and keep records up to date on sick leave laws and minimum wage requirements.
  • Maintain the HR calendar, organizational chart, and vendor Rolodex.
  • Support contract signing processes when needed.
  • Assist in planning events, happy hours, and other office functions.
  • Complete various other HR projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive mindset and positive work ethic.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively with a team.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under short deadlines
  • Familiarity with HR software (e.g., ADP, UMR, UHC) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
