Our client, a growing player in the construction field, is seeking a driven and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join their growing team! As the Human Resources Generalist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR strategies.

The ideal Human Resources Generalist will have recently kickstarted their career in Human Resources in a labor-heavy environment with exposure in recruiting, onboarding, offboarding and the employee life cycle, along with exceptional communication skills.

Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives
• Assist with onboarding, offboarding and training. Be the subject matter expert on all employee relations investigations
• Provide guidance and support to supervisors and employees on HR-related matters
• Facilitate all talent acquisition including posting jobs, screening candidates and setting up interviews
• Process bi-weekly payroll using Paylocity

Human Resources Generalist Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field required
• Ability to work fully in-person in the North Suburbs of Chicago
• 2+ years of HR Generalist experience preferably in the construction industry
• Strong interpersonal skills
