The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for managing and implementing a wide range of Human Resources initiatives. This responsibility includes, but is not limited to Recruitment, Onboarding, Training coordination, Human Resources Information Systems, leading and managing key projects as it relates to improving HR systems and processes, Wage & Hour compliance including daily analysis and additional HR reporting in Excel. The HR Generalist works in compliance with corporate guidelines and expectations regarding HR and Safety issues, communication, benefit participation and HRIS procedures.

Essential Functions:
  • Creating onboarding plans and educating all hourly new hires on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations. Continuing to help the HR Coordinator with the current recruitment plan according to operation and sales projections.
  • Generating official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, warning letters.
  • Promote the company LiveWell program and provide support to employees in completing program requirements. Facilitate bi-monthly meetings and projects for LiveWell Champions. Creating employee engagement plans, getting necessary budget approval, and initiating activities
  • Collaborating with outside vendors as it relates employee activities, employee orders, meal setup. Assist the HR Manager with coordinating employee performance and appraisals
  • Provide employees with assistance involving benefits, payroll, and policy issues. Including assisting the HR Manager with yearly benefit meetings for all employees to keep them informed of benefit changes. Includes conducting new hire orientations and follow-up sessions for benefit enrollment
  • Provide backup support to other HR department employees and assist with tasks as necessary
Ce poste est-il fait pour vous ?
  • Bachelors in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or similar discipline required
  • 3 years of experience with the following characteristics:
    • Working knowledge of HR, manufacturing, recruiting
    • Working knowledge of HR Procedures, benefits, hiring, training
    • PC Skills, MS Office Suite, Outlook, Data entry, Data analysis, written communication, collaboration, teamwork, document sharing, etc
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Software, HIRS. Applicant Tracking System, Reporting, Sound Knowledge of Cloud Technology preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication. Strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks as needed. Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Formal HR certifications preferred but not required
