The Department of Health and Senior Services is looking for an energetic and dedicated individual to join our Human Resources team. This is a first-level professional human resources position responsible for supporting the agency in one or more areas of human resources under limited supervision.

What you'll do:

• Administer workplace programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
• Responsible for coordinating and tracking request for FMLA and FMLA approval
• Review medical documentation, gather, correlate, and analyze facts and develop recommendations and/or solutions for ADA accommodations
• Conduct and/or coordinate ergonomic assessments
• Provide support to team members in various HR related topics
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and strong organizations skills.
• Critical thinking and decision making skills.
