Reports to: Director of Human Resources

Job Status: Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for someone to support the team driving HR strategies within people and operational functions. The HR Generalist will support all functions of Human Resources including but not limited to; leading HRIS, payroll and benefits administration, and supporting areas such as compensation, employee relations, talent acquisition/development, cultural engagement and administration. This employee has a keen focus on organizational culture, systems, analytics and operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Payroll/Compensation
  • Manage complex payroll processing in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Ensure paid time off requests and employee hours are submitted and approved before each pay period.
  • Complete annual compensation/bonus/promotion change notifications/letters for employees.
  • Participate in compensation surveys, review and analyze for internal compliance.

HRIS/Reporting
  • Lead HRIS data execution and develop process implementation/changes.
  • Process employee data for new hires, changes, additional earnings, etc.
  • Develop a variety of reports as needed, and complete monthly headcount reports and annual group reports.

Benefits/LOA
  • Manage benefit inquiries on plan provisions, enrollments, and status changes.
  • Conduct annual benefits review including analysis of plan options, cost analysis, etc. while working directly with our benefit partners.
  • COBRA, HSA/FSA, transit and other manual processing and follow-up.
  • Help handle benefits invoicing process and ensure HR bills are approved and paid.

HR Partner & Administration
  • First point of contact for employee Human Resources and benefit questions.
  • Administrative work such as, filing, recordkeeping, scheduling, reporting, collecting/tracking employee signoffs, audits).
  • Help execute HR compliance initiatives, such as labor law posters, policy changes, etc.
  • Handle employee relations issues and communicate updates to HRD.
  • Manage offboarding process including exit meetings and communication.
  • Update organizational chart on monthly basis.
  • Support Talent Acquisition in sourcing/scheduling/interviewing/etc. when needed, for assigned roles.
  • Conduct HR new hire employee "check-in" meetings at 30-60-90 days.

Culture/ Events / Engagement
  • Plan and implement employee engagement events in partnership with HRD and Management
  • Help build and develop culture initiatives in our growing company
  • Diversity Equity and Inclusion initiatives and communication

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE

Are you a proactive organizer, negotiator, and problem-solver? This role involves working with a cross-functional team both junior & senior partners and complex situations. A calm and measured demeanor and positive outlook are critical to success.

SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field required (HR Certification a plus).
  • Strong written and verbal communication, high attention to detail and ability to solve problems.
  • Ability to build relationships and be an employee advocate while being a representative of Thélios.
  • Ability to exercise a high degree of autonomy, confidentiality, professionalism, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Genuine passion and advocate of diversity and inclusion and integrates this mentality when making all business decisions (both internal and external).
  • Flexible/adaptable, analytical, and approachable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Great teammate with a positive 'can-do' attitude.

The hiring range for this position ranges from $70,000 - $85,000. annually. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience.
