About Our Client: Our client is a dynamic organization seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join their team. This role involves a wide range of HR functions and requires collaboration with management to support various HR activities.

Job Description: The Human Resources Generalist will handle a variety of HR responsibilities, including recruitment, employee relations, training, and compliance with employment laws. The role demands effective communication and strong organizational skills as you manage HR operations and support the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the implementation and management of HR policies.
  • Oversee recruitment activities, including phone screenings, interview coordination, and employment offers.
  • Manage pre-employment processes, including physicals, drug screens, and background checks.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and ensure timely submission of paperwork.
  • Verify I-9 documentation and utilize E-verify for electronic submissions.
  • Coordinate performance appraisals and evaluations with department supervisors.
  • Explain and manage employee benefits enrollment and documentation.
  • Maintain and organize employee records in HRIS systems.
  • Address employee relations issues and conduct investigations as necessary.
  • Handle terminations, discipline, and unemployment claims.
  • Participate in weekly HR meetings.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist/ Recruitment.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
  • PHR/SHRM certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (experience with UKG Pro and Kronos is a plus).
