POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Portfolio Manager plays a strategic role in overseeing and managing a portfolio of HR projects that align with Ardent Health Services' organizational goals. This position requires strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of HR operations, and a proactive approach to driving project success through collaboration with multiple stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and deliver HR projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with the organization's strategic priorities.
  • Serve as a key liaison between HR project teams, senior leadership, and other departments.
  • Actively engage with stakeholders, including HR leadership, department heads, and external vendors, to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process and system improvements within HR operations
  • Ensure all HR projects adhere to legal, regulatory, and company compliance standards
  • Lead change management initiatives tied to HR projects. Collaborate with IT, communications, and marketing teams to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruption, while promoting positive organizational change.
  • Oversee the HR project portfolio, managing resource allocation and prioritization
  • Provide leadership and development to HR project team members, ensuring their growth and enhancing the overall performance of the project management function.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR project management or portfolio management and combination of process management and HR operations

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • In-depth knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
