Description
SAIC is seeking a highly qualified mid-level professional to support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research & Engineering (OUSD(R&E)) as a Human Resources Program Analyst at the Pentagon. This is a fast-paced role where you will be providing essential administrative, manpower, and space management support. You will be maintaining a task-tracking database, coordinating schedules for HR&M leadership, preparing memorandums, SOPs, and reports, and ensuring accuracy in workforce planning through the R&E manpower roster. Additionally, you will analyze office space data, develop optimization strategies, and assist with personnel movement and facility resource management, all while supporting overall HR&M operations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Administrative Management
o Create and maintain a database tracking all office tasking
o Support general office operations with HR&M
o Assist with coordinating meetings and managing schedules for HR&M leadership
o Assist with developing memorandums, tracking correspondence, SOP development, and preparing reports
• Manpower Roster Maintenance:
o Manage and update the R&E manpower roster, tracking personnel assignments and phone rosters.
o Ensure data accuracy for workforce planning and personnel placement.
• Space Allocation and Management:
o Analyze current office space data to develop strategies for optimizing space use across R&E directorates.
o Collaborate with leadership to ensure efficient placement of teams and offices.
• Space Planning Strategy:
o Develop office space plans based on operational needs and the latest guidance from leadership.
o Propose space allocation options, ensuring sufficient square footage and office spaces for each directorate.
• Facility Data Management:
o Capture and maintain data related to physical space usage across R&E.
o Provide regular updates to leadership on space allocation, identifying areas for improvement.
• Personnel and Facility Management Support:
o Assist in creating reports on facility space planning, manpower requirements, and personnel movement.
o Ensure the smooth management of personnel and facility resources.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree and a three (3) years or more of related experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience providing administrative support in human resources, military personnel, facility space operations, manpower tracking, or executive resource management.
- Active Top Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI eligibility.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), particularly for data management and reporting.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and efficient task execution.
- Collaborative and adaptable, able to work closely with leadership and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, able to present information clearly and engage effectively across teams.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to analyze complex space and manpower data and offer actionable recommendations.
- Self-motivated and proactive, capable of managing multiple tasks with competing priorities.
- Experience in office space planning and personnel tracking, contributing to strategic space allocation and management.
