Position Summary:
The Human Resources Supervisor provides HR partnership to leaders and professional associates in the operations functions. The HR Supervisor role will partner closely with the leadership teams in areas including talent management, performance management, talent selection, associate engagement, leadership effectiveness, total rewards consultation, leadership coaching and development, associate development, succession planning, associate relations and diversity initiatives. This role will include Human Resource Business Partner and Administrator direct reports.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Partner with operations leaders (e.g. Fitting Service Group - Engineering, Supply Chain) to achieve business objectives and effectively drive high performance, talent acquisition and talent development.
• Formally lead an HR team to drive consistency and process improvement across the function. Responsible for the development and guidance of an HR Business Partner and administrative team to effectively partner with operations management to successfully drive the business.
• Partner with operations leaders to provide direction and guidance in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements in line with the function or business strategy • Lead and influence initiatives aligned with the strategic objectives of the company.
• Consult leaders in providing associates with development opportunities that align with current and future business needs as well as career aspirations.
• Understand the needs of the business through soliciting internal customer opinions and drive improvements based on those needs
• Identify and drive the sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Act as a liaison between Operations and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure that HR programs are aligned with the needs of the business.
• Identify new partnering opportunities for HR to add value to the business and create alignment to the Operations strategic objectives.
• Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends.
• Facilitate a strong leadership and coaching culture by assisting in the development and coaching of new and emerging leaders.
• Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR project plan and contribute to functional and cross-functional initiatives.
• Develop (where appropriate) and deliver communication (emails, presentations, process documentation, standard work, etc...) to all levels of the organization effectively .
• Know, enforce, and appropriately escalate all Swagelok associate policies.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Required:
Education / Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in HR, psychology, business or related field • 5-7 years of professional Human Resource, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity.

Preferred:
• Graduate degree
• HR Business Partner in a large, global organization • Experience in a manufacturing environment
• PHR/SPHR Certification

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:
  • Working conditions associated with normal office environment.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, telephone, copier, printer, etc.).
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both small and large groups and settings.
  • Ability to traverse between multiple locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania as needed.
  • Occasional domestic and/or international travel may be required.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
