Human Resources/Payroll Specialist

RemX has an immediate opening for a Huma Resources/Payroll Specialist with a manufacturing company located in Oak Ridge, TN.

Location: Oak Ridge, TN-100% onsite

Hours: 7:30-5 pm Monday-Thursday, 7:30-11:30 Friday

Pay: commensurate with experience and education

Responsibilities of the Human Resources/Payroll Specialist:

Payroll:

• Process payroll using ADP Run for hourly and salaried employees
• Payroll is processed weekly for hourly employees and monthly for salaried employees

Human Resources:

• Data entry of new employee information in ADP Run
• Processing I-9's using E-Verify
• Benefits administration

Accounting

• Reconcile accounts (bank and fixed assets)
• Post journal entries
• Assist with month and year end closing
• Prepare sales and property tax returns

Qualifications for the Human Resources/payroll Specialist:

• Bachelor degree preferred but not required
• 3+ years of payroll/accounting experience
• Must have experience using ADP Run
• ERP system experience
• General ledger experience
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook
