HVAC Service Dispatcher

A heating and air conditioning company in Deerfield Beach, FL is searching for a highly organized and efficient HVAC Service Dispatcher to join their team! This role is fully onsite and involves coordinating and dispatching service calls, managing customer interactions, and ensuring timely and accurate service delivery, particularly for high-end custom homes. They are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in dispatching or a related role, preferably within the HVAC industry. Salary Range: $17 - $23 / hour DOE

HVAC Service Dispatcher Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, or a related role, preferably within the HVAC or similar service industry
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
• Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and terminology is a plus but not required
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is preferred

HVAC Service Dispatcher Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming service requests from customers via phone, email, or online platforms
• Schedule and dispatch HVAC technicians to job sites based on urgency and availability
• Maintain and update the service schedule, ensuring technicians are informed of their daily tasks
• Confirm appointments with customers, provide updates, and manage any necessary changes
• Monitor technician progress throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed
• Ensure service requests are completed on time and meet customer expectations
• Keep detailed records of service calls and customer interactions in the CRM system (Service Titan)
• Coordinate with inventory and procurement teams to ensure technicians have the necessary parts
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly
• Collaborate with the service manager and team to improve dispatch processes and service efficiency
