Insight Global is looking for an experienced HVACControls Technician for a client in the NorCal area. This candidate can be local to anywhere north of Fresno and support the territory in a 2 hour radius of their home. They will be responsible for starting up and commissioning new HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, DX systems, and building automation systems. As well as troubleshooting and resolving problems with existing HVAC systems. They will be working with other members of the facilities team to ensure the smooth operation of all HVAC systems.

Required Skills & Experience

3- 5 years of experience in HVAC controls

Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control systems. (worked on applied equipment, large tunned equipment)

Familiarity with electrical systems and wiring diagrams (electrical or controls work)

Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC control systems

Transition into HVAC from electric space

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Associate degree in HVAC Controls

Previous experience with large mechanical firms services such as; ACCO, EMCOR Mesa Energy, Johnson Controls, Smardt, Bay City Mechanical
