Job Description:
Client is seeking an HVAC Technician IV to join team in Pontiac, IL!
• Typical work schedule is 40 hours, 3pm - 1:00am.; hours may vary based on business demand.
• Weekend hours may be scheduled to support our 24/7 operation.

The HVAC Technician is responsible for maintaining the company's buildings, facilities, and equipment in an operating and functional condition. This will include but not limited to refrigeration repairs, troubleshooting, and air handler maintenance and repairs.
Duties may include any of the following: electrical repairs or installations, plumbing, welding, machine servicing, and general mechanical maintenance (e.g. Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning or HVAC and
sheet metal).

Responsibilities:
• Under general supervision, reveals mastery of advanced duties of a specialized/technical nature.
• Encounters diverse problems that require thorough analysis.
• Encounters diverse problems that require thorough analysis.
• Coordinates the day-to-day operations of highly specialized maintenance technicians (i.e. maintenance electrician, HVAC mechanic, and machinist).
• Leads and directs by assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of work.
• Coordinates work with outside contractors.
• Assures code and building standards are met.
• Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements:
• High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in area of specialization.

• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
• This position may require a valid Driver's License.

Special Requirements:
• Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
• Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.

Other Attributes:
• Must be willing to work overtime when required. May be required to work holidays and weekends
