Hybrid Electrical Embedded Design Engineer

Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to work a hybrid schedule onsite in Chester, CT for one of our large Engineering clients. This person needs to come from a Product Design background doing Embedded Firmware development as well as hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Prior experience needs to include working in an Agile environment, seeing a product design from intake to the manufacturing stage, and designing in C language. This person will act as the Design Engineer for the allocated product project and will need experience being hands-on working cross-functionally creating schematics and proof of concept. Experience coding in C++ and CAD is a plus.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer delivering through an entire product lifecycle doing Embedded Firmware development
- Background working in cross functional Agile teams
- Proficient in firmware development with C programming language
- Experience creating schematics and proof of concept

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with coding language C++ and CAD software
- Experience in the automotive industry
