What You'll Do
As an Automation tester, you will collaborate with cross functional teams to understand application functionality and identify repetitive tests that can be automated using UiPath Studio. You understand test management and defect lifecycles using ALM tools. You will directly contribute to certification of software builds by automating test scripts that are integrated through a CI/CD pipeline, test data management and testing metrics.

Pay Information
This position is in the State of Ohio's OCSEA Pay Schedule, Pay Range 35. Unless required by legislation or union contract, starting salary will be the minimum salary of that pay range (step 1, currently $38.84 per hour). These ranges provide a standardized pathway for pay increases. With continued employment, new hires move to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Cost of Living Adjustments increase wages in these ranges each fiscal year. The current step progression wages are in the table below.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assures requirements are defined and approved
- Perform code reviews and ensures agency standards are met
- Work with business area personnel to thoroughly define requirements
- Perform impact analyses to identify interdependencies
- Serve as a technical lead
- Automate test cases to streamline testing process
- Write functional and performance automation scripts using automation tools
- Writes, reviews, and coordinates development of proper documentation
- Coordinate software implementation and deployment tasks

Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have and identify the following in their application:
OPTION 1:
- Completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems;
AND
- 36 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: designing and performing systems analysis, developing and/or modifying programs for computer applications recommending application solutions and/or testing and correcting programs as it relates to testing and implementation and assisting with documentation
- Including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology as specified by the agency position description & job posting.
Option 2:
- Completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems;
AND
- 42 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: designing and performing systems analysis, developing and/or modifying programs for computer applications recommending application solutions and/or testing and correcting programs as it relates to testing and implementation and assisting with documentation
- Including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology as specified by the agency position description & job posting.
Option 3:
- 60 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: designing and performing systems analysis, developing and/or modifying programs for computer applications recommending application solutions and/or testing and correcting programs as it relates to testing and implementation and assisting with documentation
- Including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology as specified by the agency position description & job posting.
Or
- Equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
